Hi, I’m Taedra Pedonti.

I am a Columbia University trained psychotherapist with over 7 years of clinical experience working with individuals, families, couples and groups. I completed my Masters of Social Work at Columbia University School of Social Work. Following training at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in outpatient adult psychiatry I accepted a position within the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry at NYP/CUIMC. Within this position I worked with individuals diagnosed with chronic medical illnesses as well as presenting with mental health challenges. I piloted and researched programs to help individual improve their adherence with their medical care. I also lead the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Consult team at Special Needs Clinic at NYP/CUIMC. At that time I held a faculty appointment at Columbia University.
